Protective Transparent Coating: A super-protective transparent coating made by a high-tech fusion of modified Melamine Formal dehydrate resin with pure cellulose paper under high heat and pressure makes the laminate surface extremely tough. This enables them to resist any kind of wear and tear for a longer period of time than ever before.
Rosted Technology: Sundek laminates are treated with the latest ROSTED (Resin Over Stuffed Treatment Enabled Decor paper) Technology. In this process, new modified resins are stuffed evenly in each micro part of the decor paper through kiss coating and multiple skying arrangements. This enhances the laminate resistance to water, weather, heat, scratch and chemicals. It also keeps the laminates looking new for a longer period of time.
Extra Thick Decor Paper: Sundek laminates are made of imported, extra thick decor papers. These papers are mill produced and homogeneously pigmented. Thicker the paper, higher the quantity of resin it picks up. Thus, higher thickness enables the laminates to fight wear and tear for a longer time, thereby adding years to their lifespan.
Titanium Loading: The decor papers are loaded with superiorquality Rutile Grade -Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) pigment. This prevents the surface of the laminate from darkening over the years. These pigments, used by our foreign suppliers, are alsofade resistant and colour fast. These materials help the laminates maintain their original colours and hence, lookbrand new over the years.
Hardened German Moulds: AISI 410 grade stainless steel hardened German moulds ensure that the laminates are cured fully and evenly. This makes the laminate surface tough and scratch resistant.
Proprietory Phenoplast Resin: The Phenoplast Resin -a Sundekproprietory -makes the laminates resistant to termites, fungus and other bacteria. The special Phenol Formaldehyde resin creates a tough bond between the decor paper and kraft paper, resulting in high water resistance. As a reult, the laminates bond better with plywood and other boards.
Better Sanded Surface: Use of the finest kraft paper and extremely good backside sanding enables Sundek laminates to stick to plywood with lesser quantity of adhesive as compared to other laminates. Hence, there are minimum chances for air-bubbles while sticking the laminate to plywood. This results in a better surface appearance than other laminates and also saves money.
Newly Installed Vapour Absorption Chilling Plant (VAC): The VAC plant ensures controlled temperature and humidity environment in the treated decor paper storage room. As a result, the laminate surface does not chip during fabrication. Additionally, due to dust free environment, no fine dustparticles stick to the paper. This makes the laminate surface smooth and attractive.
